A FORTIFIED Roof™ is a roofing system designed to remain attached to the home and limit water intrusion during hurricanes, high winds, hail, and severe storms.

Unlike a standard roof replacement, it must meet specific construction requirements for:

Homeowners in Louisiana may qualify for financial incentives when upgrading to a FORTIFIED® Roof, depending on current funding and program availability.

Most state-administered programs require certification through a certified FORTIFIED Evaluator before funds, tax credits, or insurance incentives are approved. In Louisiana, FORTIFIED-related programs are typically administered or coordinated through the Louisiana Department of Insurance and affiliated partners.
